Ukrainian gymnast named best at World Cup in Bulgaria

Ukrainian gymnast wins the individual all-around at the opening stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia, according to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

From April 4 to 6, the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, is hosting the opening stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup for the new competitive season. Ukraine is represented at the tournament by two individual gymnasts and a national group team.

In the individual all-around, the victory went to Taisiia Onofriichuk – a participant in the upcoming Paris Olympic Games. She outscored her closest competitor from Bulgaria by 3.8 points and claimed her first-ever gold medal at a World Cup stage.
