The 2024/25 soccer season will be one for the record books with the SITCH Over-30 team bringing home 3 championship trophies during their most recent campaign.
First, the team were crowned Garden State Soccer League (GSSL) champions for the 2024/25 season. SITCH posted an impressive 14 Win, 1 Tie . 1 loss record scoring 53 goals while only allowing 5 for the entire season. Dan Holowaty lead all scorers with 13 goals and 6 assists for the season while goalie “Dre” Pasztor posted 11 shutouts to help lead a very strong SITCH defense.


Second, SITCH were champions of the GSSL League cup which took place after the season with the top 8 teams between the 2 divisions taking part. On the way to the finals, SITCH defeated Jackson Lions 4-0, Ironbound Alumni SC 3-2 (Penalty kicks) before defeating Moonstar SC 2-1 in an exciting game which once again, ended in penalty kicks. The team scored 9 goals and gave up 3 during their league cup championship run with Jay Mansilla leading the team with 3 goals and 1 assist. Dre Pasztor was once again solid in goal and shining during the penalty kick shootouts.



Sitch’s 3rd championship trophy came indoors taking first place in the annual SITCH Nick Hordynsky Memorial Tournament. The team went undefeated winning 7 games and losing 0, while outscoring their opponents 17 to 8 on their way to the championship trophy. SITCH defeated Philadelphia Tryzyb 3-2 in the semifinals and Karpaty Passaic 2-1 in the Finals.

SITCH also competed in the NJ State Cup, making a run all the way to the finals before losing 1-0 to Jackson Lions in a very competitive game, a game which could have gone either way. The Ukrainian side had to go thru a very strong bracket to get to the finals, beating Jersey City SC 3-1, Fairhaven SC 2-0, Emeralds SC 4-3 (Penalty kicks). Forward Pete Luce led SITCH in scoring during NJ State Cup play with 4 goals. Dre Pasztor was once again solid in the goal, especially during the Penalty kick phase in both the quarter-final and semi-final games.
