Oregon Adaptive Sports teaches Ukrainian soldier amputees to ski at Hoodoo

HOODOO SKI AREA, Ore. -- On a bluebird day in the Central Oregon Cascades, a group of guys are in the basement for of the lodge at Hoodoo Ski Resort booting up. Instructors with Oregon Adaptive Sports discuss the plans for what looks like typical day on the mountain.

“OAS has served veterans for a very long time,” the organization’s executive director Pat Addabbo said, “this is the first time for our organization to serve veterans from another country.”
